Presentation Details: Every age since Pentecost the Christian Church has had people who are called to share the Good News of Jesus in new places and new ways. In contemporary language they could be described as missional innovators. The Church has a role to nurture and equip such people. A driving question for me has been, “Does the training and equipping of innovative missional practices require innovative pedagogy?” Dr Steven Taylor’s book (“Built for Change” published 2016) utilised 1 Corinthians 3 and 4 in naming the diverse roles of missional innovators. I drew on this, as a curriculum framework, for two short courses I conducted trialing diverse and innovative pedagogies as the way to research that driving question. I will be sharing the research journey undertaken in this project.
These lectures will be broadcast via the Zoom website/app.
