ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

Yarthu-Apinthi, meaning ‘to educate, to grow’ in Kaurna, has been awarded as the Uniting College’s building name by the Kaurna naming committee, Kaurna Warra Karrpanthi. The college’s board room has also been named Yiityu-Itua which means ‘for Jesus’ in Kaurna. The name Yarthu-Apinthi is an important recognition of the First Peoples and we trust that the building will be a welcoming place for Aboriginal and Torres Straight Islanders. Art by aboriginal artists is on display in the building, with their permission.

NATIONAL ACCREDITATION

The Uniting College for Leadership and Theology is the Uniting Church's college for discipleship and ministry training in South Australia. Uniting College is a member of the Adelaide College of Divinity. The Adelaide College of Divinity is an accredited Higher Education provider and Registered Training Organisation (RTO 4863).
