People study with us for a variety of reasons. Some feel called to become Christian leaders as they appreciate their unique gifts and discern what they are called to do. Others simply want to gain deeper understanding of the Christian faith.

At Uniting College we want to hear what God is calling you to be and do – the gifts you’ve been given, the experience and skills you’ve acquired, the potential you’ve yet to realize, the passion that brings you to life as a follower of Jesus.

We encourage deep thinking and academic excellence. Our students come from Australia and overseas to study critical issues connecting Christian theology mission and ministry with contemporary life, in innovative classes taught by a faculty whose collective knowledge creates a rich and rewarding learning environment. Expert teaching is delivered by a flexible blend of face-to-face, distance and online learning that enables us to reach students across Australia and internationally.

Uniting College is also part of the Uniting Church SA’s Ministry Centre for Mission Leadership and Development. The college plays an integral role in assisting with the Uniting Church’s mission to equip its ministers, pastors and congregations with leaders that are attuned to the needs of modern society yet empowered by the Spirit to fulfil their anointed roles with knowledge and passion.

We are a place where life and learning intersect. While some of our lessons are taught in classrooms, others are learned in a variety of community settings such as aged care facilities, churches, hospitals, sporting clubs and schools, as students undertake practical ministry placements.

When you learn with us you become part of a College that compares well to the best tertiary education institutions in Australia. You will also become part of a community of peers and mentors committed to enabling the church to be the best it can be in mission today.

We hope that through your connection with us, you find ways to learn, lead and live.
